10 FIFA World Cup 2014 Songs You Need To Know About Before It Starts by Willy

With the world cup being less than a month away, we should be getting ready to listen to its different songs everywhere! Every participant country has a song but I decided to make a list with the popular ones. I think most of the songs themselves are weak but it all may change as time goes by.

1. Pitbull – "We Are One (Ole Ola)" [ft. Jennifer López and Claudia Leitte]
I made a post about it before (which you can check out by clicking HERE) and the video is the performance of the song at the Billboard Music Awards 2014. This is the official song of the event.

2. Ricky Martin  - "Vida"
It isn’t “The Cup of Life” but it’s a solid effort from the Boricua.

3. Santana & Wyclef Jean - "Dar un Jeito (We Will Find A Way)" [ft. Avicii & Alexandre Pires]
Its fun! It sounds like a summer song and it is the official 2014 FIFA World Cup Anthem.

4. Shakira – "La La La" [ft. Carlinhos Brown]
I loved this song since 2012 when it was first supposed to come out and I’m glad they used it for the World Cup. As a Colombian, I really liked the music video (it has the same format the Waka Waka video had, with less dancing). Seems like Shakira has her heart, soul and music on this particular championship.

5. Aloe Blacc & David Correy – “The World Is Ours”
This is the song used by Coca Cola for the World Cup. I like its message and its perfect for the event.

6. Carlos Vives & David Correy – “La Copa de Todos”
#ElHimnodeTodos by Coca Cola. Maybe it is because I am Colombian and the song sounds like my country but I love this song! I think it’s fantastic and way better than the official one. This is the Spanish version of “The World Is Ours”.

7. David Correy with Paty Cantú & Wisin - "La Copa de Todos"
Also a Spanish version of “La Copa de Todos” and this one is being used in Latin America by Coca- Cola.

8. Gaby Amarantos - “Todo Mundo”
This is the Brazilian version of “The World Is Ours” and I really like it. It sounds just like what everybody expects a Brazilian song for the World Cup would sound.

9. Wisin – "Adrenalina" [ft. Jennifer López & Ricky Martin]
Univision is using this song for the World Cup. I also had made a post about it before, which you can check out by clicking HERE

10. Arlindo Cruz – “Tatu Bom de Bola”

This is the Official Mascot Song. His name is Fuleco (for Futbole -Soccer in Portuguese- and Ecology) and he is an armadillo.
