New Single: Maroon 5 - 'Maps'

I don't know if you've heard but Adam Levine is no longer blonde and Maroon 5's fifth album, titled "V", is set to be released on September 2nd this year. There are a lot of reasons to be excited about the album since among its songs, they have a collaboration with Adam's fellow The Voice Coach,  Gwen Stefani, on a song written by Sia Furler called "My Heart is Open".

The lead single of the new album is called 'Maps', which co-written by Adam Levine, Benny Blanco, Ammar Malik, Noel Zancanella and Ryan Tedder; it really is very catchy, especially the chorus. The first time I listened to the song i wasn't sure about it but now it has grown on me and it actually puts me in a good mood. If you haven't listened to it and are expecting a new sound, please don't hold your breath, it sounds a lot like their poppy sound in 'Overexposed'. But quite honestly, why change the formula when it has proven to be successful on 'Moves Like Jagger', 'Payphone' and 'One More Time'?

The music video was just released this past week and it is very dramatic. A lot of cursing, pretty girls, alcohol, the emergency room; a house party gone wrong basically. Also, there's cameos from the entire band, including Jesse Charmichael (Keytarrist) who was absent on the previous album.

I'm not going to spoil it for you, just watch below!
